Mario Matt best Austrian racer in Wengen
With half-time lead in Wengen and a very good 2nd run, Blizzard / Tecnica athlete Mario Matt finished as best Austrian racer on the 4th place at the World Cup slalom in Wengen.
"Of course it is a pity that I missed the podium so close. It was a hundredth - thriller and as the leader in the first run, the tension remains until the end. I am glad that my results are very consistent and it is a solid starting position for me looking forward to the upcoming world cup slaloms in Kitzbuehel and Schladming, "commented Mario Matt after the race in Switzerland.
That Blizzard / Tecnica's Mario is in top form and the final result underlines it: only 4 hundredths lacked for the podium and 92 hundredths for the victory.
